This is a senior-level DevOps interview. The candidate should demonstrate hands-on experience, not just theoretical knowledge. Ask about real incidents they've responded to, migrations they've executed, and how they've improved reliability. Push for specifics: 'What was the RCA?' 'What metrics did you alert on?' 'How did you test the rollback?' Don't accept 'we use Kubernetes' without understanding why and how.
